Window Regulator Motor Replacement - Front Door

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer toWater Deflector Replacement - Front Door  See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and

Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair.

Important:  The window regulator screws are seated into key slots in the inner door panel and is unnessessary to remove the screws
completely from the window regulator motor.

2. Loosen the 3 front door window regulator screws.
3. Position the front door window regulator motor through the access opening in the inner door to gain access to the electrical connector and the front

window regulator motor screws.

4. Disconnect the front door window regulator motor electrical connector.
5. Remove the front door window regulator motor screws.
6. Remove the front door window regulator motor and bracket from the front door window regulator.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the front door window regulator motor and bracket to the front door window regulator.

Notice:  Refer toFastener Notice   in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the front door window regulator motor screws.

Tighten the screws to 6 Nm (53 lb in).

3. Connect the front door window regulator motor electrical connector.
4. Position the front door window regulator motor inside the front door and install it into the key slots in the inner door panel.
5. Hand tighten the front door window regulator screws.

Tighten the screws to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

6. Install the front door water deflector. Refer toWater Deflector Replacement - Front Door  See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and

Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair
