Century V6-3100 3.1L VIN M SFI (1998)
1. Install the gasket.
2. Install the water pump.
3. Install the water pump mounting bolts.

Tighten the water pump bolts to 1O Nm (89 inch lbs.).
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
4. Install the water pump pulley. Loosely install the mounting bolts.
5. Install the drive belt.
6. Install the water pump pulley bolts.
^
Tighten the water pump pulley bolts to 25 Nm (18 inch lbs.).
7. Install the drive belt guard.
8. Fill the cooling system.
9. Inspect for leaks.
