STEP 2 - STRIKE PLATE REMOVAL FROM RETAINER

Using a Phillips screw driver, rotate the adjusting screw until the striker plate can be removed from the retainer (Step 2).

Leave screw in retainer and set retainer aside.
STEP 4 - STRIKER PLATE'S SIXTH CROSSBAR

Place striker plate on flat work surface. Using a center punch, indent the sixth crossbar (only) from the end of the plate to a depth of 1 mm (Step
4).
