Engine Mount: Service and Repair
Engine Mount to Crossmember
Engine Strut and Brackets
TOOL REQUIRED (or equivalent)

J-28467, Support fixture (and attachments).
CAUTION: Support fixture J 28467 must be located in center of cowl and its fasteners properly tightened before supporting engine and
transaxle. Bodily injury could result with improper use of this support fixture.
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Raise and support front of vehicle, then remove chassis to mount attaching nuts.
2. Engine strut attaching bolts.
3. Raise engine slightly using J-28467, (raise engine only enough to provide clearance for mount removal).
4. Two upper mount to engine support bracket attaching nuts and remove engine mount.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Support engine with J-28467, position mount.
2. Mount to engine bracket and chassis nuts, torque to 45 Nm (33 lbs ft).
3. Engine strut and bolts, torque to 56 Nm (41 lb ft).
