CONDITION 2: Retaining screw loose at front of pad to lower arm rest base (See Figure 3).
CORRECTION:
Replace the screw with a longer screw, length 40 mm (1-5/8") which will travel thru the pad and into the plastic base beyond the metal
"J" nut, into the arm rest base.
