Air Door Cable: Service and Repair

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT     

1. Heater and A/C control assembly Refer to Control Assembly.  See: Control Assembly/Service and Repair   

2. Instrument Panel (I/P) compartment and right sound insulator.
3. Unsnap retainers from ashtray and I/P brace (if applicable).

4. Push-on retainer and temperature control cable from heater and A/C module.

INSTALL OR CONNECT   

1. Temperature control cable to heater and A/C module; push-on retainer.

2. Snap cable into retainers on ashtray and I/P brace (if applicable).

3. I/P compartment and right sound insulator

4. Heater and A/C control assembly.

NOTE: Adjustment of the temperature control cable is necessary after removal and installation. For adjustment procedure, Refer to Temperature
Control Cable Adjustment.  See: Adjustments
