SERVICE MANUAL UPDATE - SECTION 3C FRONT SUSPENSION (INSTALLATION OF THE HUB AND BEARING SEAL)
MODELS AFFECTED:
1989 ELECTRA/PARK AVENUES AND LESABRES
Installation of the 1989 front suspension hub and bearing seal differs from prior years. As shown in Figure 1, the seal is installed on the outboard side of
the steering knuckle.
Fill the cavity between the hub/bearing seal and the bearing with grease. Refer to the 1989 Service Manual, Section 3C, Front Suspension, for complete
hub/bearing seal removal and installation procedure.
