Rear Side Door Window Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Traverse)   (See: Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair)Rear Side

2. Remove the water deflector.

Note:  Tape the edges of the outer belt sealing strip to pinch weld to protect the paint.

3. Remove the outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement   (See: Windows and

Glass/Windows/Service and Repair/Rear Side Door Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement). 

4. Lower the window  (1) to align the bolts (2) with the access holes in the inner panel.
5. Remove the window guide bolts (2).
6. Using masking tape place the door window into the upper door frame and tape in place. 
7. Remove the window regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement   (See: Rear Door Window Regulator/Service and Repair

).

8. Remove the rear door speaker. Refer to Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement   (See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Radio, Stereo,

and Compact Disc/Speaker/Service and Repair/Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement).

9. Remove the rear door window front channel. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Front Channel Replacement   (See: Windows and

Glass/Windows/Service and Repair/Rear Side Door Window Front Channel Replacement).

10. Remove the masking tape from the window and frame.
