Transmission Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side
Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair).
2. Remove the left engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement (See: Body and Frame/Splash Guard/Service and Repair).
3. Support the transmission with a transmission jack.
4. Remove the transmission mount nuts (1, 2).
5. Remove the transmission mount bracket bolts (1, 2).
6. Using the transmission jack, lift the transmission just enough to gain clearance for tilting the transmission mount.
7. Remove the transmission mount bracket bolt (3).
