THIS SERVICE UPDATE INCLUDES VEHICLES IN DEALER INVENTORY AND CUSTOMER VEHICLES THAT RETURN FOR ANY TYPE
OF SERVICE AND WILL EXPIRE AT THE END OF THE INVOLVED VEHICLE'S NEW VEHICLE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD.
Purpose
This bulletin provides a service procedure to reprogram the HVAC control heads. When the remote start is activated, the HVAC system may become
inoperative the vehicle is started with the key.
This service procedure should be completed as soon as possible on involved vehicles currently in dealer inventory and customer vehicles that return to
the dealer/retailer for any type of service during the New Vehicle Limited Warranty coverage period.

Important:
Dealers are to confirm vehicle eligibility prior to beginning repairs by using GMVIS. Not all vehicles within the above breakpoints may be involved.
Service Procedure
Reprogram the part number shown HVAC control head.
Notice:
If the HVAC control head part number shown on the Diagnostic Scan Tool component identification for the vehicle is NOT one of the P/Ns
shown above in the table, DO NOT attempt to reprogram the control head. Attempting reprogramming on any other HVAC control head P/N
will render it permanently inoperative.
