Oil Filter Adapter: Service and Repair
Oil Filter Adapter Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Remove the generator.
3. Remove the oil filter.
4. Remove the oil filter adapter.
5. Disassemble the oil filter adapter as necessary. Refer to Oil Filter Adapter Disassemble.
6. Clean and inspect the oil filter adapter and sealing surfaces as necessary. Refer to Oil Filter Adapter Cleaning and Inspection.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the oil filter adapter.
2. Install the oil filter.
3. Install the generator.
