Throttle Body Heater Hose/Pipe Replacement - Inlet
Throttle Body Heater Hose/Pipe Replacement - Inlet (LY7)
Removal Procedure
1. Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26 Static Fill) Draining and Filling Cooling System (LY7 Static
Fill) Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26, LY7, GE 47716 Fill).
2. Disconnect the following from the remote power steering fluid reservoir (1):

The brake booster hose

The wiring harness (2)
3. Remove the remote power steering fluid reservoir mounting bolts (1, 3) ONLY, and position aside.
4. Remove the wiper motor module in order to gain access to the rear of the throttle body heater inlet hose.
5. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector (2) from the rear of the throttle body heater inlet hose/pipe (3).
6. Disconnect the throttle body heater inlet hose from the water crossover, using 90 degrees needle nose pliers.
