Driver/Vehicle Information Display: Description and Operation
Driver Information Center (DIC) Description and Operation
The instrument panel cluster is equipped with a driver information center (DIC) that displays several vehicle and driver warning messages, gage
information, fuel information and season/trip odometer information. The DIC also contains the Information button, which is used in programming the
Personalization features. The DIC is equipped with the following five momentary push type switches for scrolling through the various DIC selections:

Warning Messages
The DIC displays several vehicle and driver warning messages. These warning messages alert the driver to a certain vehicle condition or problem that
requires his prompt attention. Some DIC warning messages are accompanied by audible chime warnings to call the drivers attention to the message that
is displayed in the DIC. The messages are displayed according to their level of priority. The following messages may be displayed:
