Front Upper Speaker Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the end cap on the side of the instrument panel (I/P).
2. Pull out to remove the tweeter speaker wire clip from the I/P.
3. Disconnect the speaker wire from the I/P electrical harness.
4. Remove the windshield garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /
Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair).
5. Pull the speaker wire up through the I/P.
6. Remove the speaker from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the speaker on the I/P.
2. Slide the wire down through the I/P to the end cap.
3. Connect the wire to the I/P harness.
4. Press the wire clip onto the I/P.
5. Press the end cap onto the I/P.
6. Press in the speaker (1) until it is fully seated on the garnish molding.
7. Install the windshield garnish molding (2). Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /
Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair).
