Door Trim Speaker Grille Cracked (Replace Grille)
Models:
2005 Buick Allure (Canada Only), LaCrosse
Condition
Some customers may comment that the front door speaker grille is broken or cracked.
Correction
A new grilled is now available. A material change to the speaker grille was made to make the grille more robust.
1.
Remove the door trim.
2.
Using a drill motor and a 7 mm (9/32 in) drill, drill through the back side of the speaker grille retainers.
3.
Install the new speaker grille to the trim pad.
4.
Hold the speaker grill tight to the door trim and use a socket and driver to push the fasteners down on all of the posts.
5.
Reinstall the door trim.
