Brake Pedal Assembly Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the left instrument panel insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side (See: Body and
Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair).
2. Push the body control module (BCM) up and move the bottom of the BCM away from and out of the mounting bracket slot. Position the BCM
aside.
3. Remove the brake pedal position sensor. Refer to Brake Pedal Position Sensor Replacement (See: Lighting and Horns/Brake Light Switch/Service
and Repair/Removal and Replacement).
4. Release the wiring harness clips from the bracket.
5. Remove the brake pedal pushrod nut (1).
