Heater Inlet Hose Replacement (LS4)

Tools Required

J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

Removal Procedure

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LS4 GE47716 Fill) (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling

System/Service and Repair)Cooling System Draining and Filling (LS4 Static Fill) (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Service and
Repair).

2. Use J 38185 to reposition the heater inlet hose clamp at the heater pipe.

Important: Cap or plug the cooling components to prevent system contamination.

3. Remove the heater inlet hose (1) from the heater pipe.
