Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Right Front
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the upper center pillar trim. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim
Panel/Service and Repair).
2. Remove the lower center pillar trim. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim
Panel/Service and Repair).
3. Remove the guide loop nut.
4. Remove the guide loop from the guide adjuster bracket.
5. Remove the intermediate guide bolt.
6. Remove the seat belt retractor bolt.
7. Remove the seat belt retractor from the T-slot in the lower center pillar.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the belt retractor into the T-slot in the center pillar.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Notice).
2. Install the seat belt retractor bolt.
Tighten the seat belt retractor bolt to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).
3. Install the intermediate guide bolts.
