16. Remove the wire retainer clip (1) from the top of the surge tank.
17. Remove the coolant surge tank retainer clip (2) from the side of the surge tank.
18. Pull the surge tank forward and remove the surge tank.

Perform Steps 19-20 on a work bench.

19. Transfer the coolant from the old surge tank to the new surge tank.

20. Install the new surge tank.

1. Install the coolant surge tank retainer clip (2) to the side of the coolant tank.
2. Install the wire retainer clip (1) to the top of the surge tank.
3. Install the outlet surge tank hose to the coolant surge tank.
4. Install the inlet surge tank hose to the coolant surge tank.
5. Ensure that the surge tank coolant level is correct.
6. Install the surge tank cap onto the surge tank.

21. Install the battery tray.
