REMOVAL:
1.
Gain access to the EBCM. It may be located in one of three places:
^ In the passenger compartment, behind the right close-out panel (Figure 1).
^ In the passenger compartment, at the left close-out panel (Figure 2).
^ In the trunk, at the left wheel well (Figure 3).
2.
Depress the electrical connector locking plate and pivot the wiring harness connector away from the EBCM.
3.
Unhook the end of the wiring harness connector from the pin on the EBCM.
4.
Inspect the EBCM and wiring harness connectors for damage to terminals. Make any necessary repairs.
INSTALLATION:
1.
Inspect the EBCM and wiring harness connectors for damage to terminals. Make any necessary repairs.
2.
Install the EBCM in these steps:
