MODELS AFFECTED: 1985-88 ELECTRAS 1986-88 LESABRES AND RIVIERAS, AND 1988 REATTAS
Use the following information to update the Front Suspension Section of the 1985 thru 1987 Buick Chassis Service Manuals:
FIGURE 1 - STRUT TO STRUT MOUNT NUT
The large 24 mm nut that secures the upper strut mount to the front spring and strut assembly (see Figure 1) on 1988 LeSabres, Electras, Rivieras, and
Reattas has been changed in production. This new design nut is the same nut that was used on some earlier production vehicles.
