RATTLING SOUND APPARENT AT LEFT OR RIGHT HEAD RESTRAINT ASSEMBLIES
MODELS AFFECTED:
1989/1990 PARK AVENUE ULTRA
Some 1989/1990 Park Avenue Ultras may experience a "rattling sound" at the left or right head restraint assemblies.
To repair this condition, use the following procedure(s):
1.
Remove seat back assist straps as described in the service manual update bulletin 89-10-19, Section 4-1-1.
2.
Remove seat back trim panel.
3.
Remove drive cable and gear.
4.
Remove head restraint and disconnect hose.
5.
Remove shaft retainer.
