Radio Replacement
Disable the Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system as described in MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM
DISARMING prior to working on or near the steering column. After completion of repairs, rearm airbag system as described under
MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.

1.
Remove lower RH trim plate.
2.
Remove four radio retaining screws, then pull radio out of dash and disconnect electrical connectors and antenna lead.
3.
Remove radio, Fig. 32.
4.
Reverse procedure to install.
