1996 Buick LeSabre, Park Avenue, Riviera
1996 Cadillac Concours, DeVille, Eldorado, Seville
1996 Oldsmobile Aurora, Eighty Eight, Ninety Eight
1996 Pontiac Bonneville
All of the above listed vehicles use twist lock style brake switches. The brake switch removal, installation and adjustment procedures for these vehicles
differ from all other previous model year vehicles. It is very important that the new procedures be followed any time the brake switches are being
serviced. Follow the procedures listed in Section 5 of the appropriate 1996 Service Manual to correctly service the brake switches. Failure to follow the
correct procedures may cause damage to the brake system and/or brake switches.
