Intake Manifold: Service and Repair
Installation

1. Apply GM 1050026 sealer or equivalent to both sides of the manifold gaskets and seals.
2. Install gasket to cylinder head.
3. Install seals to block, Refer to Fig. 1.
4. Install intake manifold.
5. Lubricate bolts with engine oil. Tighten bolts in sequence, Refer to Fig. 2. Tighten bolts to 20 N-m (15 lbs.ft.). Torque bolts to 54 N-m (40
lbs.ft.).
6. Connect CCC solenoid assembly and idle load compensator and bracket assembly.
7. Connect temperature sensor wire.
8. With air conditioning install compressor and bracket.
9. Install generator and bracket.
10. Install drive belts.
11. Connect T.V. and throttle cables.
