3. Open the air cleaner cover.
4. Remove the air filter from the air cleaner.
Important: The air cleaner cover has a hydro carbon adsorber that is not serviceable. If the adsorber shows any kind of physical damage
the cover must be replaced.
5. Inspect the air cleaner housing assembly for damage. If a problem is found, replace as necessary.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the air filter to the air cleaner.
2. Close the air cleaner cover. Ensure that the inboard hinges are engaged prior to tightening the screws.
