SYMPTOMS - SUNROOF/MOONROOF
IMPORTANT: Complete the following procedures before using the symptom tables.
1. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle in order to verify that all of the following conditions are true: See: Testing and Inspection/Initial
Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Diagnostic Starting Point - Vehicle

No DTCs are set.

The control modules can communicate via the serial data link.
2. Review the system description and operation in order to learn the system functions. Refer to Sunroof Description and Operation.
Visual/Physical Inspection

Inspect for aftermarket devices which could affect the operation of the power sunroof system.

Inspect the accessible system components for obvious damage or for conditions which can cause the symptom.
Intermittent
Faulty electrical connections or wiring may be the cause intermittent conditions. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections.
