9. Remove the left/driver lower insulator panel from the instrument panel (I/P).
10. Remove the connector position assurance (CPA) (5) from the steering wheel module coil connector (2).
11. Disconnect the steering wheel module coil connector (2) from the vehicle harness connector (6).
ENABLING PROCEDURE
1. Place the ignition in the OFF position.
2. Connect the steering wheel module coil connector (6) to the vehicle harness connector (2).
3. Install the CPA (5) to the steering wheel module coil connector (2).
4. Install the left lower insulator panel to the I/P.
5. Install both Air Bag Fuses, one in the underhood fuse center and one in the interior fuse center.
6. Replace both fuse center covers.
7. Install the rear seat.
8. Use caution while reaching in and turn the ignition switch to the ON position.The AIR BAG indicator will flash then turn OFF.
9. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle if the AIR BAG warning indicator does not operate as described. Refer to Diagnostic System
