Lucerne V6-3.8L VIN 2 (2006)
1. Install the new left and right scavenger seals.
2. Install the new left and right scavenger screens.
3. Install the bottom pan, seal, and bolts. Finger-tighten the bolts.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
4. Tighten the pan bolts 3 times to the proper specification, in the sequence shown:
1. Tighten the pan bolts to 3 Nm (27 inch lbs.).
2. Tighten the pan bolts to 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.).
3. Tighten the pan bolts to 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.).
