6. Starting the reassembly, install the new link to the ashtray housing:
1. Insert the underside tab into the slot in the housing, and press the link until it snaps onto the housing.
2. Once installed, rotate the link counterclockwise so it rides up the ramped rib and drops into position between the two ribs (1) on the housing.
The link will now be retained by the underside tab.
7. Install the pop-up spring to the spring retainer:
1. Install the inner end of the spring into the slot at the center of the retainer and hold in position with your thumb, as shown above.
2. Using your other hand, pull and rotate the outer end of the spring counter-clockwise toward the single standing rib on the retainer. This will
decrease the coil size and set spring tension.
