9. Remove the exhaust crossover pipe to right exhaust manifold nuts.

10. Remove the upper exhaust manifold bolts.
11. Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (V8)   (See: Catalytic Converter/Service and Repair).
12. Remove the lower exhaust manifold bolts.
13. Remove the exhaust manifold from the bottom of the vehicle.
14. Remove and discard the exhaust manifold gasket.
