Lucerne V6-3.9L (2009)
element plate (122).
7. Install the oil pan. Refer to Automatic Transmission Fluid and Filter Replacement (See: Maintenance/Fluids/Fluid - A/T/Service and Repair).
8. Fill the transaxle to the proper level. Refer to Fluid Capacity Specifications (See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic
Transmission/Transaxle/Specifications/Capacity Specifications).
9. Inspect the transaxle fluid level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check (See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic
Transmission/Transaxle/Testing and Inspection/4T65-E - Automatic Transmission/Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check).
Important: It is recommended that transmission adaptive pressure (TAP) information be reset.
Resetting the TAP values using a scan tool will erase all learned values in all cells. As a result, The ECM, PCM or TCM will need to
relearn TAP values. Transmission performance may be affected as new TAP values are learned.
10. Reset the TAP values. Refer to Transmission Adaptive Functions (See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic
Transmission/Transaxle/Description and Operation/4T65-E - Automatic Transmission/Transmission Adaptive Functions).
