6. Coat the threads of the camshaft seal bolts with sealant. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (See: Specifications/Adhesives, Fluids,
Lubricants, and Sealers).
7. Install the camshaft seal (1) bolts.
Tighten the bolts to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
8. Install the water pump drive pulley onto the intake camshaft.
9. Install the water pump pulley using the J 38823. During installation, the tool will bottom out on the camshaft at the proper depth.
10. Install the plastic dust cap (2) into the end of the camshaft.
