Air Injection Pump: Service and Repair
Secondary Air Injection Pump Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement (See: Body and Frame/Spoilers, Flaps, and Air Dams/Air Dam/Service
and Repair/Front Air Deflector Replacement).
2. Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector (1) from the secondary air injection (AIR) pump.
3. Disconnect the AIR pump inlet hose quick connect fitting from the AIR pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service (See: Fuel
