Fuel Pressure Regulator
NOTE: Before disassembly, the fuel rail assembly may be cleaned with a spray type engine cleaner, such as AC Delco X-30A or equivalent. The fuel
rail should not be immersed in liquid solvent.
Fuel Rail And Injectors - Removal/Installation
REMOVAL:
1.
Relieve fuel system pressure.
2.
Using a shop towel to catch any fuel leakage, disconnect the fuel supply and return lines from the inlet and outlet of the fuel rail. Use a back-up
wrench to avoid twisting the fittings on the fuel rail.
