Panel Replacement

Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the inside door handle bezel. Refer to Handle Bezel Replacement - Inside  (See: Bezel Replacement) .
2. Remove the armrest cover plate.

1. Insert a small flat-bladed tool into the rectangular hole until it bottoms out.
2. Tilt the tool forward in order to release the locking tab.
3. Lift the forward edge of the plate up.
4. Slide the plate forward in order to remove.

3. Remove the fasteners (3) from the armrest.
4. Remove the courtesy lamp assembly (5).
5. Remove the fastener from behind the lamp assembly (4).
6. Remove the push-in retainer from the defroster duct.

7. Lift straight up on the trim panel in order to disengage the hooks on the backside of the panel.
8. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
9. Remove the door trim panel.
