Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement

Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Outer

Removal Procedure

1. Lower the rear door window.
2. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door  See: Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair
3. Remove the garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Door Frame  (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and

Repair) .

4. Remove the inner belt molding. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Inner  (See: ) .
5. Gently pry the front of the outer belt molding upwards in order to release.
6. Lift the molding from the front to the rear in order to remove.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the rear door outer belt sealing strip to the rear door pinchweld flange .

1. Starting at the rear, align the sealing strip clips to the slots in the pinchweld flange of the door.
2. Push the sealing strip down in order to fully seat and secure the strip to the door.

2. Install the inner belt molding. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Inner  (See: ) .
3. Install the garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Door Frame  (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and

Repair) .

4. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door  See: Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair
5. Raise the rear door window.
