Armrest Replacement - Front Seat

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front seat retaining bolts. Refer to Seat Replacement  (See: Seats/Service and Repair/Seat Replacement) .
2. Tilt the back of the seat upward but do not remove.
3. Remove the rear air deflector duct from the bottom of the armrest.
4. Remove the 4 retaining nuts securing the center armrest to the seat assembly.
5. Remove the center armrest assembly.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the center armrest to the seat assembly.
2. Install the 4 nuts in order to secure the center armrest to the seat.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  in Cautions and Notices.

3. Tighten the retaining nuts.

Tighten the 4 retaining nuts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

4. Install the rear air deflector duct to the bottom of the armrest.
5. lower the back of the seat down.
6. Install the front seat retaining bolts. Refer to Seat Replacement  (See: Seats/Service and Repair/Seat Replacement) .
