Removal Procedure
Caution: In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as the
original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.
1. Remove the front seats. Refer to Seat Replacement (See: Seats/Service and Repair/Seat Replacement) in Seats.
2. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (See: Seats/Seat Cushion/Service and Repair/Seat Cushion Replacement
- Rear) in Seats.
3. Remove the center console, if equipped. Refer to Console Replacement (See: Console/Service and Repair) in Instrument Panel, Gauges and
Console.
4. Remove the center pillar garnish moldings (1). Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Center Pillar (See: Trim Panel/Service and
Repair/Garnish Molding Replacement - Center Pillar) .
5. Remove the front sill plate (1) by gently prying upward.
6. Remove the rear sill plate.
