Sunroof Drain Hose Replacement - Rear

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the headliner in order to access the drain hose connections. Refer to Headliner Replacement (Without Sunroof)  (See: Interior Moulding /

Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Headliner Replacement (Without Sunroof))Headliner Replacement (With Sunroof)  (See: Interior Moulding /
Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Headliner Replacement (With Sunroof)) in Interior Trim.

2. Remove the rear drain hoses from the retaining clips (1).
3. Pull the upper portion of the rear drain hoses out through the access holes in the rear sail panels.

4. Remove the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Compartment Trim Panel Replacement - Rear  (See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk /

Liftgate/Trunk / Liftgate Interior Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Compartment Trim Panel Replacement - Rear) in Body Rear End.

5. Remove the lower portion of the rear drain hose from the electrical pass-thru grommet.
6. Pull the lower portion of the rear drain hose up through the access hole in the rear shelf extension panel.
7. Remove the drain hose from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the upper end of the rear drain hoses onto the drain tubes of the sunroof module.

Important:  When installing the drain hose clamps, position the clamps in order to maintain clearance between the clamps and the 
headliner.

2. Use new tie wraps to clamp the hoses in place.
3. Route the rear drain hoses through the access holes in the sail panel.
4. Secure the rear drain hoses to the body with clip (1).
5. Install the grommet over the end of the rear drain hoses.
6. Pull the rear drain hoses down through the hole in the rear shelf extension.
7. Engage the grommet in the rear shelf extension.
8. Install the rear compartment trim. Refer to Compartment Trim Panel Replacement - Rear  (See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Trunk /

Liftgate Interior Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Compartment Trim Panel Replacement - Rear) in Body Rear End.
