Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front seat assembly. Refer to Seat Replacement  (See: Service and Repair/Seat Replacement) .
2. Remove the front seat side air bag. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Side Impact Module Replacement - Front.

3. Remove the head restraint. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement - Front Seat  (See: Head Rest/Service and Repair/Head Restraint Replacement -

Front Seat) .

4. Remove the map pocket panel (3) by pushing up and then out at the bottom to release the attachment hooks.
5. Release the attachment hooks from the following locations:

*

The back of the frame

*

The bottom of the frame

6. Disconnect the seat heater electrical connector if necessary.

7. Press in at the sides and push upwards to release and remove the rear seat belt height adjuster trim cover.

8. Remove the height adjuster closeout ring from the seat back cover attachment hook.
