Park Avenue V6-3.8L SC VIN 1 (2005)
1. Turn the crankshaft so that the number one piston is at top dead center.
2. Turn the camshaft so that the timing mark is straight down with the sprocket temporarily installed.
3. Assemble the timing chain on the sprockets. Ensure that the timing marks are in the closest together position.
4. Install the timing chain and the crankshaft sprocket.
5. Install the camshaft sprocket.

6. Install the camshaft sprocket bolt.

Tighten the camshaft sprocket bolt to 100 Nm (74 ft. lbs.). Use the J 36660-A in order to tighten the bolt an additional 90 degrees.
7. Install the timing chain dampener.
8. Install the timing chain dampener bolt.

Tighten the timing chain dampener bolt to 22 Nm (16 ft. lbs.).
9. Install the engine front cover.
