Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the tire and wheel.
3. Clean the drive axle threads of all dirt.
4. Insert a drift punch or a screwdriver into the caliper and the rotor in order to prevent the rotor from turning.
5. Remove the drive axle nut.
6. Remove the brake rotor.
7. Disconnect the Antilock Brake System (ABS) front wheel speed sensor connector. Unclip the connector from the dust shield.
8. Remove the wheel bearing/hub retaining bolts.
9. Important: Replace the hub and bearing only as an assembly.
