Removal Procedure
Important: Ensure that the window is in the full-up position.
1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front
Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair) or to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and
Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair
2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front
Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair or Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door (See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and
Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair) .
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Remove the power window motor fasteners (2).
5. Remove the power window motor (1).
Installation Procedure
Important: Do not force the power window motor into position. Ensure that the gear on the motor and the gear on the regulator mesh
properly. If the motor does not seat onto the module assembly, then manually move the window up or down slightly until the motor fits
tightly against the window module.
1. Install the motor (1).
2. Install the fasteners (2).
3. Connect the electrical connectors.
4. Install the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front
Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair or Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door (See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and
Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair) .
5. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front
Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair) or to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and
Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair
