Hydraulic Control Assembly - Antilock Brakes: Service and Repair
Pressure Modulator Valve (PMV) Side Rail Bracket

PRESSURE MODULATOR VALVE (PMV) SIDE RAIL BRACKET

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. PMV assembly upper bolts.
2. Raise vehicle.
3. PMV assembly lower bolt.
4. Lower vehicle.
5. Side rail bracket bolts.
6. Bracket.

IMPORTANT

-

Support PMV assembly while bracket is removed to prevent excess stress on brake components.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Bracket.
2. Side rail bracket bolts.

TIGHTEN

-

Bolts to 26 Nm (19 lb. ft.).

3. PMV assembly upper bolts.

TIGHTEN

-

Upper bolts to 27 Nm (20 lb. ft.).

4. Raise vehicle.
5. PMV assembly lower bolt.

TIGHTEN

-

Bolts to 27 Nm (20 lb. ft.).

6. Lower vehicle.
