Cut the wire (circuit 835, see illustration) at the back of the harness connector, tape over the end of the wire, and tape the wire back into the I/P away
from the radio.
If two wires:
Cut the wires (circuit 835, see illustration) at the back of the harness connector, electrically splice the two wires together, then tape the wire back into the
I/P away from the radio.
After modifying circuit 835, the FM reception should be returned to normal.
