area which was creating the stick and release condition so it cannot transfer more adhesive to the door inner panel. Re-install the deflector. Assure
the deflector is smooth and fully attached to the door inner panel. Assure there is no place on the adhesive strip where the deflector comes loose
again leaving adhesive deposited on the inner door panel.
3.
LOOSE DOOR TRIM HANGER BRACKETS
Assure the door trim hanger brackets are properly attached to the door module (see illustration).

LOOSE MODULE
Assure the module assembly is tight to the door.
5.
LOOSE DOOR TRIM PANEL COMPONENTS
Assure that all the attachments to the door trim panel (woodgrain trim, side defroster duct, etc.) are tight and not creating the buzz sound. On 1991
Park Avenue/Ultra and 1992 LeSabres built before January 1992, the woodgrain trim panel was not attached to the dark back panel. To correct
this condition, remove the woodgrain panel from the door trim by removing the inverted nuts on the back of the door trim panel. Apply silicone
sealer between the light and dark color plastics on the back side of the woodgrain panel to correct the noise condition. This can be done by prying
up gently on the dark color plastic to gain sufficient access to insert the silicone sealer.
6.
LOCK KNOB RATTLE
The lock knob on the door trim can also create a rattle/buzz sound. Hold the lock knob to assure the noise stops. To correct this condition, remove
the lock knob. Insert a small piece of foam into the lock knob, then re-insert the lock rod back into the lock knob. (See illustration). Attempt to
rattle the knob on the lock rod to assure the noise has been eliminated. Assure the operation of the lock knob is still smooth as excessive foam in
this area can hamper proper lock operation.
