Park Avenue Ultra V6-3.8L SC VIN 1 (1991)
This bulletin updates the DTC 63/P1558 Cruise System Problem (SPS Indicated Low) Chart. This chart addresses the possibility of the cruise control
brake switch internal resistance being high enough to cause an inoperative cruise control system, but still show correct operation on the Tech 1. This
condition may not set Diagnostic Trouble Code P1567 (Cruise Switches Circuit). This updated chart should be used in place of DTC 63 in 1992-93
service manuals and DTC P1558 in 1994 service manuals. Refer to Service Manual Table of Contents for DTC usage and page numbers.
