Tools Required:
J 24319-01 Universal Steering Linkage Puller
J 28733-A Front Hum Spindle Remover
J 34754 Inner Drive Joint Seal Protector
J 34657-A Front Knuckle Seal Installer
Remove or Disconnect
1. Raise vehicle and suitably support.
2. Place jack stands under cradle.
3. Lower vehicle slightly so the weight of the vehicle rests on the jack stands and not on the control arms.
4. Wheel and tire assembly.
Notice: Drive axle seal protector J 34754 should be modified and installed on any drive axle prior to service procedures on or near the drive axle.
Failure to observe this can result in seal damage and possible joint failure.
5. Insert drift punch through rotor.
Clean

Drive axle threads of all dirt and lubricate.
6. Shaft nut and washer.
