1. Install the latch (1) to the endgate.
2. Connect the electrical connector to the latch assembly.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the screws retaining the latch assembly to the endgate.

Tighten the latch screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

4. Install the endgate inner reinforcement panel.
5. Install the endgate trim panel.
